NCRI – On July 30, 2017, a young man attacked a mullah in Toos Street in Tehran and beat him severely. He chanted that he was avenging ‘the murder of Asghar’ adding: ‘we will kill you all.’
On July 15, to stop the harassment of two young women in the metro station of ‘Shahr-e Ray’ by a Mullah, under the pretext of ‘combating social vice’, Asghar Nahvipour tackled the Mullah. Shortly after he was shot and killed at point blank by a security agent of the regime while crying: ‘I sacrifice my life for Iran.’
Eyewitnesses at the scene stated: Asghar was crying: we don’t want these Mullahs, we don’t want this kind of Islam, what has happened to our country?
News from inside Iran is indicative of a popular movement among youth who have chosen to tackle repressive mullahs much like their hero Asghar Nahvipour.
