Rajavi called on Europeans to adopt firm policy on Iran regime

Rajavi called on Europeans to adopt firm policy on Iran regimeNCRI – In an interview with the Euronews net work, Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran, called on Europeans to adopt a firm policy against the regime in Iran.

Mrs. Rajavi told the Euronews that she believed any pressure on the clerical regime could be effective including economic and political pressures as well as arms and technological embargo. She stressed that these pressures could force the mullahs to stop their nuclear program.

Europeans are considering restrictions and even economic sanctions on Iran for its nuclear file while the media in the U.S. talk about a possible plan to attack nuclear sites in Iran.

Addressing a meeting of the Liberal Group at the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe in Strasbourg on Monday, Mrs. Rajavi emphasized once again on her third option to the Iranian crisis and reiterated: "The Iranian Resistance has the potential and the elements necessary to bring about democratic change in Iran."

The President-elect of the Iranian Resistance rejected a foreign military intervention in Iran and warned that appeasement of the mullahs will eventually lead to an inevitable war.

Mrs. Rajavi also presented her 10-point plan for a democratic Iran which was warmly welcomed by participants in the meeting.
