Iran: Dire economic conditions acknowledged by regime official

NCRI- Mohsen Safai Farahani, a member of the regime’s Commerce Office in Tehran acknowledged that the poor management and squandering of the clerical regime has left the Iranian economy in dire conditions.

According to the state-run daily, Jomhouri, on Monday, Farahani noted: “Upon evaluating the business environment and also the health of the economy in recent years, we would discover that the economy has fallen 30 spots in rakings on these two criteria. This shows that the country’s economy has not improved.”

He pointed to a low money supply and its impact on closure of production facilities, adding: “In such circumstances, we are left to anticipate the unemployment of 5 million people.”
