Iran: Ahmadinejad’s mentor warns against the danger of new generation

NCRI- Mohammad-Taghi Mesbah Yazdi, known as Ahmadinejad’s mentor, in a speech let out his fear of new generation’s hatred of the regime, the state-run media reported on Saturday.

Mesbah Yazdi, a member of mullahs’ Assembly of Experts speaking in Qom's school of Theology in, the holy city of Qom, said that since the “traditional and old customs” are not included in bringing up the young, the “new generation is in danger.”

“The students learn nothing but vilifying the regime,” said he. Mesbah Yazdi  admited to the widespread opposition to the regime among the younger generation  in particular the university students.

He warned that the regime will soon face a major challenge unless “scientific trainings” are coupled with “religious teachings.”

In past two years, Iranian students across the nation have been protesting to the government usually by chanting anti-government slogans such as: “Death to dictator,” “we will continue our struggle,” 'Ahmadinejad, the source of discrimination and corruption,” “death to this deceptive government.”
