Former head of Iran regime judiciary: Accusing individuals fuels the flames of disturbance

NCRI – A former Judiciary Chief of the clerical regime issued a statement implicitly attacking the mullahs’ Supreme Leader, according to an Iran-based website on Sunday. Moussavi Ardebili described the regime's future in the face of increasing crises and internal rifts as dangerous, and added that this will “fuel the flames of disturbance,” and weaken the regime’s foundations.

He also said, “The disrespect and accusations which have not been proven in competent courts against the senior esteemed national and religious figures will not only fail to encourage calm but would rather fuel the flames of disturbance. … The persistence of this situation is certainly not ideal for any of those loyal to the country, and the fear is that it could weaken the foundations of the state and public trust toward it, and pave the way for much larger disturbances.”

Moussavi Ardebili added, “Respecting the rights of the detainees, … immediately freeing those individuals whose crimes have not been proven, and consoling families who have lost their relatives in these incidents, can diminish pain and decrease existing tensions.”
