NCRI – On Saturday, judges have been assigned by the mullahs' to "advice" women violating the imposed dress codes in the streets of the central city of Yazd.
Such a suppressive move has caused much hatred for the clerical regime among the local residents. However, judges are backed up by the State Security Forces (SSF) – mullahs' suppressive police — if the subjects do not comply.
So far more than 100 people have been arrested since the start of the new plan in Yazd.
The move is in line with the so-called "boosting public security" plan.
The plan was first introduced in April 2007 to combat popular uprisings. Mass street arrests of hundreds of thousands of women and youth under the pretext of "mal-veiling" and cracking down on "thugs and hooligans" followed. In the same period, more than 300 prisoners were sent to gallows.
