US spokesman points to evidence of Iranian regime backing Iraqi militias

NCRI – The chief spokesman for the United States Forces in Iraq has said that the US command has evidence proving that rockets used in attacks in Iraq have been manufactured in Iran, according to al-Sharqiya TV.

The TV said Major General Jeffrey Buchanan added that the inscriptions on the rockets show that they have been built in Iran in 2010.

He also said the evidence shows that a substantial number of such rockets are smuggled into Iraq from the border with Iran through a senior commander of the Iranian regime-backed Hezbollah brigade.

He added that the Hezbollah commander primarily lives in Iran and is trained by the Iranian regime’s terrorist Qods Force.
