NCRI – On his last day in office, U.S. Secretary of Defense Robert Gates said that he informed President Obama that he had notified Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki and senior Iraqi officials of the Iranian regime’s destructive actions in Iraq but no positions was taken yet by al-Maliki in this regards, al-Sharqia Television reported.
International news agencies and media have previously reported statements by the U.S. Secretary of Defense regarding Tehran’s role in terrorist operations in Iraq and Iranian regime’s negative interventions in Iraq and the Middle east.
