U.S. Military Spokesman: Blast killing an American is linked to Iran

NCRI – Jeffrey Buchanan, a spokesman for the U.S. armed forces in Iraq said it was possible the blast that killed an American contractor could have been carried out by the paramilitary forces supported by and linked to Iran,al-Sharqia Television reported on June 24.

A diplomatic source in Baghdad said that initial information indicate that some personnel in the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education provided information that facilitated the operation of the perpetrators of the armed attack, al-Sharqia said.
