The United Nations on Monday accused the Iranian regime of repeating violating international law by sending weapons to militias in the Middle East.

The Under Secretary-General of the UN for Political Affairs Jeffrey Feltman said that the Iranian regime violated international law by sending weapons to militias in Iraq, Al Arabiya English reported.

The report pointed to a weapons shipment that was seized by the US Navy in the Gulf of Oman.

Also, a special report submitted by UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon to the UN Security Council on Monday affirmed that Iran’s regime is violating the agreement reached with world powers on its nuclear development program a year ago, Al Arabiya English added.

The French and US representatives said that the Iranian regime conducted its fourth ballistic missile test since signing the nuclear agreement with the United States and five other world powers last year.

The report mentioned an intercepted Iranian arms shipment to rebels in Yemen and a violation of travel restrictions on Iranians such as the head of its al-Quds Force, who was recently seen in Iraq.
