The Revolutionary Guards and extremist core are handling Iran’s regional policies

The Iranian regime is seeking expansionism in the Middle East. CNN quoted UAE’s Foreign Ministry on February 18, and continued there’s a lot of concern among six Persian Gulf states. Concerns over Iranian regime’s expansionist policies in Syria, Yemen, and Iraq which have also been extended to Bahrain.

Arab countries are asking for pressure on the Iranian regime, particularly the Revolutionary Guards.

Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan believes that Iranian regime’s future election show will have little effect on its policies, saying that “if you take a look at Iranian regime’s regional policies, you’ll see that it’s always been handled by the Revolutionary Guards and the regime’s extremist core.”

According to UAE’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, what’s of utmost importance, is to understand that the extremists within the regime are the ones who actually make decisions. They are seeking a religious, expansionist Iran. The majority of people, however, are asking for open doors to the world.

Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan added that “the Iranian regime must learn to respect the sovereignty of countries. It must accept that it can’t have normal relations with its neighbors while trying to export its beliefs and ideology.”

It is worth mentioning that UAE’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs ‘Anwar Qarqash’ also has called for stopping Iranian regime’s interventions. He tweeted on February 20 “Javad Zarif calls for regional talks among (Persian) Gulf states. To establish serious talks which are away from hype, however, Tehran must stop intervening in its neighbors’ affairs.”
