Turkey arrests Iranian regime’s women spies – Report

NCRI – A group of women spying for the Iranian regime’s Revolutionary Guards had obtained critical information and documents from Turkish military officers, policemen and officials, a Turkish daily claimed on Friday.

According to a story that appeared in the Hürriyet daily on Friday, after receiving a tip-off Iğdır Police Department carried out operations to various addresses and took 24 people, including 10 women, into custody as they were suspected of being involved in prostitution and espionage.

The first operation was conducted on May 8. Eight of the suspects were subsequently arrested on charges of espionage and 10 women were deported from Turkey.

The women had been coerced by the Iranian Revolutionary Guard to enter Turkey and work for them as spies there, the report said.
