Seized Iranian regime truck in Iraq full of explosives: police chief

NCRI – A truck tied to the Iranian regime that was seized last week at the Basra international exhibition center in Iraq had been loaded with high explosives, the city’s police commander was reported as saying on Monday.

The regime ambassador in Iraq, Hassan Danaifar, had tried to downplay earlier reports about the seizure by saying that the material in it would have been used in “oil rigs.”

But Basra’s police chief, Staff Major General Adel Doham, stressed that there are credible and circumstantial evidence proving that the truck had been full of explosives which had no use for civilian projects.

A Basra official also rejected the Danaifar’s claims, saying that the explosives were so powerful that they could bring down an entire oil rig.
