PLO slaps Khamenei for his remarks

PLO slaps Khamenei for his remarks NCRI – Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) call on all Palestinians to boycott conferences held by the mullahs' regime in the name of Palestine, reported the Jordanian daily Al-Arab al-Youm on Saturday.

This came as a backlash to mullahs' Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei's remarks in a counter-conference held by the Iranian regime to that of the international conference in Sharm el Sheikh to help rebuilt Gaza on March 3.

Yasser Abdrebeh, a PLO high ranking official following an executive committee meeting presided by Mahmoud Abbas on Saturday, on behalf of the PLO called on all Palestinians to boycott meetings and conferences held in the future by the leaders of the Iranian regime, Al-Arab al-Youm said.

President Abbas said on March 4 that the Iranian regime must stop interfering in Palestinian affairs.

"We are sending a message to the Iranians and others — stop interfering in our affairs," he said. "They are interfering only to deepen the rift between Palestinians."

Abbas spoke on the same day that regime’s supreme leader Ali Khamenei called for “world Muslims” to join the Palestinian "resistance" against Israel at the start of a two-day summit on the Palestinian issue.
