Mullah Mesbah Yazdi, a member of the regime’s Assembly of Experts, was quoted as saying, “A mohareb [enemy of God] should meet one of these fates: execution, exile or amputation of hands or legs.”
“Here, human rights and democracy are not at issue. Islam prescribes certain rulings and those who believe in this religion must comply with them,” he said.
