Morocco urged governments to stop Iranian regime’s nuclear weapons drive: cables

NCRI – The Moroccan government demanded more to be done to stop the Iranian regime from acquiring nuclear weapons, according to confidential diplomatic documents released by Wikileaks.

The London-based Arab daily al-Qods al-Arabi reported on Sunday that Morocco had called on world governments to do whatever they can to prevent the ruling mullahs in Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons.

In mid-2009, Morocco severed ties with the Iranian regime in consultation with Saudi Arabia after it was revealed that the regime is carrying out activities against the Moroccan King.
