A cleric from southern Lebanon has issued a call to resist the Iranian regime’s meddling in the internal affairs of Arab countries, particularly Iraq and Bahrain, al-Sharqiya TV reported on Saturday.
Seyyed Ali Amin was quoted by the TV channel as saying, “The Iranian regime backs protests in Bahrain in contrast to protests in Iraq. And this is a bizarre contradiction in the regime’s policies.”
He warned that the Iranian regime must realize that regional relations should be based on mutual respect and stability and not on interference in other countries’ affairs, al-Sharqiya said.
