IRGC on full alert after subsidy cuts

NCRI – The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has put its anti-riot battalions on full alert in Tehran following the implementation of subsidy cuts by the regime.

Reports from Tehran indicate that the IRGC has also planned for special emergency landing spots for its helicopters in various Tehran locations.

Less than 10 days after the subsidy cuts, its adverse effects such as the wave of layoffs among workers have already begun. In Tehran, construction companies are experiencing a severe downturn and bankruptcies.

Companies such as Kavir, Bolouk, Owj, and Nariman have gone bankrupt.

In Zanjan province, directors at the agricultural department have told seasonal workers that they will be laid off in two months.
