Iraqis pay tribute to victims of passenger bus bombing

Iraqis pay tribute to victims of passenger bus bombing NCRI – Some 3,000 Iraqis gathered in Ashraf City on Monday to pay tribute to the victims of terrorist bombing of a passenger bus carrying Iraqi workers, reported Iraqi weekly Al-Shahid al-Mostaqel.

Iraqi worker were on their way to Ashraf City where thousands of members of the Iranian main opposition movement, the People’s Mojahedin, are based. At least 11 were reported dead and 15 wounded in the bombing.

Participants in the ceremony included tribal leaders and sheikhs, political and social figures, families of the victims, local residents and Iraqi people.

Speaking to the gathering, Mr. Abbas Davari, NCRI’s Labor Committee Chair condemned the killing of innocent Iraqi workers and blamed mullahs’ terrorist regime for the shocking crime.
