Iraqi political activists and civil organizations supported al-Iraqia’s call for expulsion of Iranian regime’s ambassador

The Iraqi al-Zaman daily reported that while Kurdish families’ exodus from their towns and villages, due to Iranian regime’s aggressions, continues, political activists and civil society organizations started a campaign for condemning the continuous shelling of villages in border areas located in the Kurdistan Province and supported the call by al-Iraqia Coalition for expulsion of the Iranian regime’s ambassador in Iraq.

Shevan Taha, member of parliament told al-Zaman Daily that: “Nine Iraqi parliamentarians and seven Iraqi Kurdistan’s member of parliament visited the damages caused by Iranian regime’s shelling. When they were about to leave the village of Soni in the Bashdar region, they faced shelling and bombing of the village that wounded four residents.”

He added: “There is evidence that Iranian shelling had specifically targeted the parliamentarians,” al-Zaman wrote.
