NCRI – Society of Iraqi Intellectuals and Legal Professionals in Mandali (Eastern Iraq) in a statement on May 31, 2007 condemned meddling of Iranian regime in Iraq and demanded an end to this interference.
The statement declared: Iran is surrounded by crisis from within and from international community and its proxies in Iraq have started new threats against Iranian opposition.
Individuals such as Hadi Alameri and others in the Iraqi government who are well-known for their connection to Iran’s Ministry of Information ridiculously claim that Mojahedin-e-Khalq are responsible for terrorist activities within Iraq in order to clear the guilty hands of Iranian regime’s Ministry of Information and its surrogates who dispatch suicide bombers to streets of Baghdad and other cities to kill the innocent Iraqi citizens.
We announce that this nonsense is nothing and aims to rescue the mullahs and expanding the State sponsored terrorism. We therefore demand an end to Iranian regime’s interference.
The Council of Iraqi National Tribes-Azim branch (located 100 kilometers north of Baghdad) in a statement on the same day condemned the lies and deceptions of Iranian regime and its proxies in Iraq against Mojahedin.
The statement asserted: To conceal their motives in sending weapons and explosives to Iraq and murder of innocent people, the Mullahs regime is conspiring against People’s Mojahedin organization of Iran and accusing them of training terrorists in Diala province.
The Council of Iraqi National Tribesââ¬âAzim branch strongly condemns the fabrications that the Mullahs regime spreads with the help of it agents connected with Badr-9 and considers this a technique to conceal unrestrained terrorism of the Mullahs regime in Iraq.
It is worth mentioning that agents of Badr-9 who resided in Iran for 20 years were trained by Quds force of Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) and presently have infiltrated the police and security organizations in Iraq.
