Iraqi lawmakers demand closure of Iranian regime embassy

NCRI – Several Iraqi lawmakers have demanded the closure of the Iranian regime’s embassy in Baghdad, Asharq al-Awsat daily reported on Monday.

Heydar Molla of the Iraqiya list told the daily that the Iranian regime’s officials seek to meddle in the internal affairs of other countries as a way of exporting their system of governance, something they’ve wanted to do since 1979.”

“The regime also wants to export its own internal crises to other countries,” Mr. Molla, an Iraqi member of Parliament, told Asharq al-Awsat.
