Al-Najifi said: The Iranian regime seeks to impose its domination all over our borders, water, and resources. That is why it is using all sorts of false claims and pretexts. The Iranian regime’s recent efforts to control the Khour al-Omayyeh Port is a clear violation of Iraq’s territorial integrity and takes place in the context of the regime’s attempts to expand its regional gains through Iraqi soil and water.
The Iraqi government must clearly express its opposition and rejection of the regime’s illegal demands and invite the Security Council to end the Iranian regime’s attempts to dominate Iraq, al-Najifi added.
