Iranians interrogated members of opposition Syrian Free Army

NCRI – Brigadier General Salim Idris, Chief of Staff of the Free Syrian Army (FSA), said on Monday that FSA soldiers released during prisoner swaps in Damascus had been interrogated by the agents of Iranian regime.  He warned that Iranians in Syria had 24 hours to leave the country otherwise the FSA would not be responsible for their lives.

Speaking to the Turkey-based Anadolu Agency on Monday, Mr. Idris said that Iranian regime had claimed that the 48 military men who were held in Syria were civilians.  He demanded an explanation for the interrogations and called on all Iranians in Syria to leave the country within 24 hours.

Mr Idris also said that Russia’s support for the Syrian and Iranian regimes had not decreased, but had in fact increased, adding that the Syrian regime’s security forces were being directed by Russian and Iranian experts.
