Iranian regime uses Iraq for daily flights to help Bashar al-Assad – Report

NCRI – Every day a dozen secret flights by Iranian regime are departing three Iraqi airports for Syria to help the falling Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad, an official of a pro-Iranian group in Iraq has revealed.

Kuwaiti daily Al-Siyasa on April 1 quoted an official of Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq as saying: ” On the average there are 8 to 12 flights per day from Iran to Syria. All these planes take off from three airports in Iraq, Baghdad, Najaf and Suleimanieh.”

“Iranian flights are all done privately and Maliki has demanded those involved to preserve every political and security information and prevent its leakage so that he will not go under internal and foreign pressure.”
