Iran: Mullahs’ dream of a regional empire

NCRI – The Iraqi daily As-Safir described the mullahs’ intention of acquiring nuclear weapons as an expansionist desire to establish a reactionary empire in the region.

In an article entitled, "Iranian regime’s nuclear program and illegitimate ambitions," the Iraqi daily said that most Gulf States see the Iranian regime’s nuclear program with deep suspicion.

"The reason for the regime to push for nuclear weapons lies in expansionist dreams of the rulers in Iran to establish an empire and export its revolution," noted As-Safir.
