NCRI – Last week, in Pierre Gemayel’s funeral in Beirut which gathered 800,000 people, the mourners chanted slogans against the Iranian regime, according to media reports.
Demonstrators were shown by the CNN holding banners in English and Arabic which read: “We are the hostages of Iran and Syria” and “Iran and Syria stole freedom from Lebanon.”
Participants in the ceremony also carried banners condemning the meddling of Iran and Syria in that country along with pictures of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, mullahs’ president which claimed: “Liberty, independence and sovereignty.”
