Iran: American flags burned on US Embassy siege anniversary

NCRI – The Iranian regime held demonstration in Tehran on Monday burning American flags and effigies of Barack Obama marking the anniversary of the 1979 seizure of U.S. Embassy in Tehran.

Outside the old U.S. Embassy compound the air was thick with smoke as countless U.S. flags went up in flames, accompanied by chants of “death to America” and the waving of anti-U.S. banners.

Reporters were issued with press credentials marked with the phrase “down with U.S.A.”

A number of ministers of Hassan Rouhani’s cabinet attended the state-organized rally. Ali Asghar Fani, the education minister, Hassan Hashemi, the health minister and Faraji Dana, the Information Technology minister were among many officials of the Iranian regime that attended the rally.
