In slap to Ahmadinejad, Khamenei reinstates Intel Minister

NCRI – Amidst growing fissures in the Iranian regime, the regime’s Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, warned on Saturday that he will intervene in all government affairs when necessary in a rebuke to mullahs’ President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, according to the Associated Press.

Following the dismissal of the regime’s Intelligence Minister Heydar Moslehi by Ahmadinejad and his later reinstatement by Khamenei in a slap to Ahmadinejad, feuds and fissures at the helm of power have intensified.

According to the AP report, “Some have accused the president and his allies of trying to amass more power and challenge Khamenei’s ultimate authority.”

“A statement signed by 216 parliament members — more than two-thirds of the 290-seat chamber — warned Ahmadinejad Wednesday that he cannot disobey Khamenei, who has the last word in all state affairs,” AP added.
