Heads roll in Iraq after 12 Al-Qaeda captives flee to Iran

NCRI – Iraqi TV Al-Sharqiya reported: Following the escape of 12 prisoners to Iran, all members of Al-Qaeda, the Basra Provincial Council held an emergency session dismissing Basra Province Police Chief Adel Daham.

“Dismissing the police chief took place after questioning about the bombings in the Abdullah Street in Eshtar Bazaar,” said Basra Province Deputy Governor.

Al-Sharqiya added: The Basra Province Council also decided to evacuate Presidential Palaces and transfer them to the local Basra government. This council also called for a change in command in the security forces of the province.
