German lawmakers unanimously reject Iranian president’s remarks

NCRI – Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s remarks about Israel.were rejected by all German political parties represented in the Bundestag in a joint statement issued on Friday.

The German deputies condemned mullahs’ president’s comments on the Holocaust and  Israel’s relocation as "totally unacceptable" and "incompatible with the norms of the international community and the history of the 20th and 21st century."
The joint statement was signed by the Christian Democrats, the Christian Social Union, the Social Democrats, the Free Democrats, the Left Party and the Greens.
The lawmakers called on the German government to continue to "oppose any policy that disputes the right of Israel to exist and denies the Holocaust."
In a spate of recent verbal attacks on Israel, Ahmadinejad has alternately said that Israel should be relocated to German or Austrian soil and that the country must be moved as far away as Alaska.
The leaders of the European Union on Friday condemned his outbursts, saying in draft conclusions at their summit in Brussels that his remarks "have no place in a civilised political debate."
