Facing one major crisis every year, Khamenei cannot deal with Ahmadinejad’s defiance

NCRI – Admitting intensifying crisis at the top of the regime, mullah Yazdi, First Deputy Secretary of regime’s Council of Experts, said: “The Islamic Republic has had, and continues to have a difficulty every day, and today, it is facing a difficulty that is referred to as ‘deviated current’.”

Yazdi clearly stressed Khamenei’s inability to confront Ahmadinejad’s defiance and insubordination and said: “Supreme Leader’s unequivocal opinion is that for the time being, no tensions should be created in the country and the public calmness should be maintained… Our highest duty is to heed the orders of Supreme Leader, do what he says, do not engage in self promoted actions, and pay attention to the internal and external conditions,” government-run Asre Iran reported.

Expressing concerns about the fallout of this crisis, Yazdi warned: “Running the country when everything is calm, is not a difficult task; what’s important is how can we maintain the country in times of crisis. The Supreme Leader has had a major crisis once every year.”
