NCRI – The al-Khazra region(Green area) in central Baghdad in Iraq was targeted with Katyusha rockets last week, according to al-Sharqiya TV.
Iraqi intelligence sources have said that five Katyusha rockets hit the protected area of al-Khazra, sounding off alarms and prompting American helicopters to fly over the area to find the culprits, the TV reported.
There are no reports yet about the extent of the damage or casualties.
Iraqi security sources have said that in recent weeks rocket attacks against al-Khazra have become more accurate, which confirms recent intelligence reports that Iranian regime-backed militias in Iraq have received special training in this regard from groups tied to the regime’s terrorist Qods Force.
