According to a report by a Lebanese website, sources have told the Future TV of Lebanon that militants in Al Anabr province in Western Iraq have seized the shipment after clashes with armed group.
The report said it is not clear whether these arms are being supplied by Iraq or Iran.
There have been already numerous reports that Iranian regime’s Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) is involved in sending arms to Syrian regime through Iraq.
A recent report by Reuters had revealed that Iranian regime is “continuing to assist the regime in Damascus by sending trucks overland via Iraq” with the full knowledge of the Maliki regime.
