Allawi wants more international attention on Iranian regime meddling in Iraq

NCRI – In an interview with al-Arab al-Yom, former prime minister and current al-Iraqiya leader, Ayad Allawi, said the Iranian regime is the biggest meddler in Iraqi affairs and voiced dissatisfaction over the silence on the part of the Arab world and the international community.

He also said the policy of killing time has become a set policy for current PM Nouri al-Maliki and his supporters to reject earlier agreements of a coalition.

The Iraqiya leader said he will refer the case to the Iraqi judiciary and said it is possible for international courts to investigate the matter as well so that “the Iraqi people clearly see the realities.”

Allawi said he trusts the Iraqi judiciary but added that it is under pressure and there are continuous threats.

He referred to al-Maliki’s plots, saying 20,000 pictures were ordered to be distributed against him, but print shops have refused to do so.
