Ahmadinejad resorts to threats and blackmail to prevent adoption of strong UN resolution

Ahmadinejad resorts to threats and blackmail to prevent adoption of strong UN resolution NCRI – Today, concurrently with the meeting of the UN Security Council’s permanent members plus Germany over the Iranian regime’s nuclear projects, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad attempted to blackmail these countries to force them to back down. He said, “From now on, if you attempt to resist the Iranian nation’s right through propaganda or in any other form, the Iranian nation will consider this an act of hostility and will revise its relations [with] you.” He reiterated, “Iran will continue its path to produce nuclear fuel for all its power plants with wisdom and awareness.”

Ali Larijani, the Secretary of the regime’s Supreme National Security Council, stressed that the regime would continue its nuclear program, saying, “Iran will not forego its undeniable rights.”

The Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the National Council of Resistance of Iran, Mr. Mohammad Mohaddessin, said, “The time has come for the international community to adopt a firm policy vis-à-vis the mullahs’ regime and not allow it to continue with its nuclear weapons program by blackmailing the world. The appeasement policy and four years of delay have done a great service to the mullahs to complete their nuclear projects.”

He called on the Security Council to adopt a firm policy by imposing comprehensive diplomatic, arms, technologic and oil sanctions against the mullahs’ terrorist regime to prevent it from obtaining the nuclear bomb.
