NCRI – The Iranian regime’s President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has expressed concern over the results of a UN-backed tribunal to investigate the assassination of former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik Hariri.

Preliminary findings have reportedly identified the regime’s Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, as one of those responsible for the killing.

According to the state-run Fars news agency on Wednesday, Ahmadinejad attacked the tribunal while speaking in the city of Yazd, saying, “We are familiar with their methods. … They deceivingly point to the pure forces and friendly nations in order to sow the seeds of division and incite conflict. The arrogant powers help them.”

Ahmadinejad addressed the tribunal and its international backers by saying, “You yourselves have to be put on trial in the people’s courts, but instead you hand down rulings for others. Your record is already tainted, so don’t make it worse.”
