Up to 40,000 prisoners destined for forced labour in Iran

NCRI – The clerical regime in Iran has announced a decision to transfer 30-40 thousand prisoners to forced labour camps, according to the state-run Kayhan daily.

The daily added that the number of prisoners in Iran has exceeded the maximum capacity of 204,000 prisoners.

 

According to the daily, “Last week, the commander of the State Security Forces said that these forces are preparing to transfer 30-40 thousand prisoners held on drug charges to labour camps.”
