NCRI – Three killed and six injured in a gas explosion at a coal mine near the city of Kuhbanan in Kerman province, the state-run Mehr news agency reported on Friday.
Two of does injured are in critical condition, the report added.
The mine recently opened after two weeks of closure for ‘failure to observe safety rules’ and following approval by regulators.
The state-run news agency report said similar deadly incidents have taken place at the coal mines in Kerman in recent years.
