Iran: Six villages buried under water as flood swept across Sistan and Balouchestan Province

NCRI- Torrential rains and severe flooding struck southern parts of the province of Sistan and Balouchestan in the past two days left a five year-old boy dead.

State-run Mehr news agency reported that many villages in the southern part of this province including Sib Souran, Qasr-e Qand and Nayshekar have faced serious damages and the connection between 40 villages have been cut off.
The weather forecast calculated the amount of rainfall in some parts of the province as more than 50 millimeters and claimed that this heavy rainfall will continue throughout the week.
Last month also, severe flooding and torrential rain hit five provinces across Iran, including Sistan and Balouchestan.
A ten-year-old girl, a five-year-old boy and a man aged 45 were among those who died in Kerman province, while three more people lost their lives when their car crashed from a bridge into a river in Sistan-Baluchestan province.
