Regime agents climbed onto rooves at houses in the city without asking residents’ permission to dismantle and destroy or remove the equipment.
Officials also entered some homes to seize satellite receivers and personal computers, reports from inside Iran have revealed.
The action is the latest sign of the increasing paranoia of the ruling elite that the population will be turned against them by news from outside the country.
The Isfahan raids come after similar intrusions at homes in Kurdistan province, which security forces said was to ‘counter the cultural offensive’.
