Iran: Protest continued in Hormozgan province for sixth consecutive day

NCRI – For the sixth consecutive day, residents of Bandar Abbas (capital of Hormozgan province, southern Iran) protested against the separation of the Parsian town from Hormozgan Province.

According to information received, on Tuesday residents held a protest in front of the governorate between 16:00 – 19:00 local time.

In a failed attempt to disperse the protesters, the security forces and police exploded sonic grenades in the gathering.

Protesters have launched a petition to express their discontent.
