Iran: People confront regime’s suppression

NCRI – On Tuesday afternoon, September 10, the female anti-vice agents approached several girls outside Goldis shopping center in Tehran to arrest them under the pretext of improper veiling. However, people present at the scene confronted and raided the agents and dispersed them.

On Thursday, September 12, security forces in Tehran also approach a lady accompanied by her husband, mother and children outside Qods Theatre in Vali-asr Square and intend to arrest her for disobeying the Islamic dress code. Furious people at the scene attack and beat the forces. The agents escaped from the area.

On Monday, September 9, patrol agents positioned on the streets to block and check the people in the city of Sanandaj, in Kurdistan region of Iran, approached a vendor and collected his things, throwing it in their car to take away. Amid this, people protested to this behavior and clashed with the forces.

On September 9, the bassij forces in Kan district, Tehran, arrested several youths on bogus reasons. The youth however, resisted the agents and with the help of people who attacked the forces, managed to escape the arrest.

September 11: following a chase by government forces in Hamal Abad district in the city of Saqez, northwest of Iran, people chain together creating a human flesh barrier and prevent the forces from attacking the civilians being chased.

According to some reports, in western region of Khaneh Shour in clashes between people, youth and security forces in late August and early September at least 5 security forces were have been killed.
