NCRI – According to the reports, the power outage in Rasht led to the death of ICU patients in Aria Hospital.
In the Evening of Thursday, February 2nd 2017, the power has cut off in Aria Hospital while the patients were hospitalized in ICU room. 5 to 7 people lost their life in this situation.
This hospital had a complete electric system but the issue is that the power grid was not expanded as they enlarged the hospital. As a result, this serious incident occurred on February 2nd 2017.
The reports indicate that the dead patients were delivered to their families in the next days and their cause of death was not revealed to them. The power cut existed till Friday morning and the hospital lacked heating systems until then.
