Iran: Imported rice and wheat are contaminated with lead and cancerous

NCRI – An official of the Iranian regime has acknowledged that poisonous imported wheat from India and Pakistan are a source of disease.

A manager at Plant Protection Organization said recently that the organization has issued warnings regarding import of wheat from these two countries.

Previously the reports on lead contamination of eight types of imported rice had been confirmed.

Import of these items is mostly in the hands of the government or factions that are affiliated with it.

According to the state-run of Fararu, Gholamrezq Jafarzadeh, member of Commission for Programs in the parliament, said on August 8: “That group of individuals who gain tremendous profit by these imports care nothing for people’s lives. Surely, these individuals have links with the government and without assistance from government, these imports are impossible.”
He added: “Previous culprits have not been identified nor punished.”

According to the MP, there is a bridge called “bribery” that enables criminal importers to get through improved import laws.
