NCRI – A group construction workers at Abadan oil refinery gathered outside the city’s governor office on Friday to protest the recent layoff of more than 500 workers. Many unemployed residents of the city joined the protest.
The protest by the workers continued on Saturday and Sunday. The Iranian regime’s State Security Forces tried to disperse the crowd with no success. Later the SSF arrested a number of workers and transferred them to prison.
