NCRI – Several merchants and civilians have clashed with state security forces during recent weeks in the border regions of the town Sardasht, northwest of Iran.
As a result, the security forces have arrested more than 170 and burned seven of their vehicles.
The northwestern border regions in Iran, especially near Sardasht, Kurdistan is where Kurdish porters make their living expense through transporting goods across the border.
