NCRI – In the final statement of their second meeting, Iranian regime’s Council of Experts warned over enemies’ ‘infiltration project’ and what they called ‘people’s irregular tendency towards the cyberspace’.
Iranian regime’s Council of Experts has in their Wednesday March 8 statement expressed concerns over what they’ve called ‘irregular tendency towards cyberspace’, asking in exchange for strengthening national internet and supporting domestic social networks.
The members of the council claim that to use this technology properly, it should be aimed at ‘publishing and presenting the rich content coming from pure Islam and Islamic Revolution values”. Meanwhile, ‘deviant, anti-religion, immoral, and anti-Islamic (anti-regime)’ channels and networks should be seriously dealt with, they say.
Attacking Rouhani’s band, the members of regime’s Council of Experts have also referred to ‘infiltration’ as one of regime-threatening risks. “Enemies are trying to influence our decision making bodies”, maintains the statement.
The issue of ‘Infiltration’ has been raised by Khamenei as one of the post nuclear deal risks. He has repeatedly warned over world powers’ infiltration after the nuclear deal, following which many press and civil activists as well as people with dual-citizenship were arrested by security organizations, accused of paving the way for infiltration.
This policy is in clear contrast with Hassan Rouhani’s false and empty promises for improving economic and diplomatic relations with the world, pointing more than ever to increased conflicts and tensions between regime’s rival bands.
Regime’s Council of Experts also acknowledges official’s inaction to resolve people’s economic problems, saying in their statement “despite efforts made by three branches to implement the general policies of resistance economy, the results of such measures have not been reflected in people’s lives in a meaningful, tangible way.”
It seems that with regime’s presidential election getting closer, pressures on Rouhani’s government are increasing. That’s why issues such as tightening control on cyberspace, increasing security pressure on critics and political opponents, and stressing on poor economic conditions have been raised in Council of Expert’s recent statement.
