Cleric: People hate the regime and disregard its laws

NCRI – Admitting clerical dictatorship’s failure in implementing the suppressive policy of so-called “ethical security,” a cleric warned about people’s increased hatred and disgust vis-à-vis the regime.

The state-run Asr-e Iran said on July 6 that mullah Naghavian said: “At times, when I go to various agencies or I go to the airport and I see how extensive the level of disobedience  and preferential treatment is, or when I see at the airport that the departure boards display multi-hour delays of various flights and on the same boards it is written ‘Please respect the veiling laws [i.e., Women should cover their hair],’ at a time when people are so stressed out, I hate this see this mal-veiling slogan let alone the women.”

Tabnak, the website of Mohsen Rezaii, First Secretary of the regime’s Expediency Council also wrote: Another incompetence of the country’s smaller cultural systems has rendered the behavior of the disciplinary forces and the police ,in the eyes of the people, as distressing…and this will eventually weaken the police forces who are the enforcers of our laws.”
