US State Department: No progress in Iran nuclear talks

NCRI -The U.S. Department of State said Friday that there are no progress in nuclear talks with Iranian regime held in Almaty in Kazakhstan.

Negotiators from United States and five other nations: China, Russia, France, Britain and Germany are holding talks on Iranian regime’s nuclear program.

The talks center around a new proposal to get Iranian regime to abandon its nuclear weapons program, which has fueled much international concern.

“My understanding is that the talks have been substantive, but we don’t yet have any progress to report,” State Department spokeswoman Victoria Nuland said at her daily briefing.

“There were further bilateral meetings expected in various combinations this evening, but there was no bilateral meeting expected between the U.S. and the Iranians tonight.”
